Knocking me down with a feather is not hard with a broken foot


Seriously, I don't know why I bother? Getting myself stressed about last Monday's hospital appointment was a total waste of time,tears and energy. All my worry had been leading up to this one moment but the result could have knocked me down with a feather. (Let's face it, with my balance and the Foot of Doom, a feather could just about do the job)

Waiting for the day....

After the grand total of 106 days in plaster, there is a bright light at the end of that very long tunnel. In 2 more days, all being well, my broken foot will be released from plaster. How am I feeling? Very, very worried......

We are sailing.......with a broken foot

Ever wondered what it is like on a boat with a broken foot? No? Well,  maybe you shouldn't bother even thinking about it. If you get a chance to wonder about anything else, grab that opportunity with both hands and run as far away as you can because, believe me, it's not the most enjoyable experience! What on earth was she doing on a boat, I hear you ask? Of course I wasn't on a boat but it damn well felt like it. Here is what happened....

Snow and a broken foot

It snowed here yesterday and ,as per usual, the British media lapped it up and began warning us with tales of doom of how you must only make essential journeys e.t.c. What about me and my broken foot?  Did the snow have any effect? Slightly, but not in ways the ways that you think.
